Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. Deposit: To secure your spot in the program, a deposit of $500 is required. This deposit is transferable to another program date, should you need to change your enrollment.

  2. Non-Refundable Payments: All program payments, including deposits and full program fees, are non-refundable. Once payment has been made, it will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  3. Late Payments: A late payment fee of $100 will be added to the total amount due if payment is not received by the specified deadline.

  4. Program Cancellations: Philotimo Med Abroad reserves the right to cancel any student’s participation in the program if they fail to comply with the program’s terms or for any other reason deemed necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, the following circumstances:

    • Failure to submit required documents (e.g., medical records, visa application, etc.)

    • Inadequate or lack of communication with an admission officer

    • Submission of fake or fraudulent documents

    • Violation of program rules and regulations

    • Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the program’s environment

  5. In such cases, any fees paid will be transferred to an alternative program date, and no refunds will be issued.

  6. Eligibility: The program is open to all students who meet the criteria for participation, including high school, pre-med, and medical students.

 

  1. Parental Authorization: Students under 18 must complete the parent/guardian authorization form.

  2. Non-Discrimination: Philotimo Med Abroad does not discriminate based on color, religion, sex, belief, race, or other factor. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment for all students.

  3. Cancellation After Enrollment: If you decide to cancel your participation after enrollment and acceptance into the program, Philotimo Med Abroad will not refund any program fees.

  4. Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other events outside of Philotimo Med Abroad’s control, Philotimo Med Abroad will work with participants to reschedule the program or offer an alternative, but not refunds will be issued.

  5. Liability: Philotimo Med Abroad and its directors are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the program. Participants are advised to secure travel insurance before arrival.
